How might the Autodesk 3ds Max SDK/Scripting be improved?

Better methods to access the vertex-channels info

Right now it is just a pain to acess XYZ <-> RGB <-> UVW info using maxcript. Why can't we just get an array with, say, UVW channel 2 vertices for the XYZ polygon #?
