How can we improve Autodesk 3ds Max?

Improve spacing tool

The Spacing option feels pretty outdated..it should be a modifier much like path deform. Or an alternative would be to add that feature to path deform (clone objects along spline) and also the option to not deform them (for chains and such). Would also be nice to have a 'not deform' option for elements of the same object.

    I also agree! Turning it into a modifier and adding some extra features like randomness would be a huge step forward. Take a look at the Cloner from Cinema.. ;)

    Another option that would be very useful is a way to specify which axises are affected by the follow function.

    I agree with this completely! Currently using the AEC Railing for many purposes, but a spacing modifier would be leaps and bounds more useful.
